visualizing vacation

Our vacation to Kenya and Zanzibar seems long long ago. It’s been a little over a month and a half since we returned to Cameroon.  A lot has happened in the last month – we moved to Yaoundé, we hung our clothes in the closet at our new home, and we settled into a new workspace at VSO.

Working overtime has meant we need a break every now and again.  While these breaks have been  rather short, they’ve been long enough to edit a few photos from our trip.  The photo processing lab may have taken a little longer than expected, but we hope you enjoy the results!

You can take in the top shots I took on my Flickr page.  Just click here or on the “Greg’s Flickr Photostream” located in the right hand column of this blog page.  Among others, you’ll find albums of Faces of Zanzibar, Zanzibar Life and Kenyan Wildlife.

To wet your appetite, here are a few of my favourite shots.

  2. is there anything you didn’t see there? the giraffes look very interesting and different from the ones down here. great pics, thanks for sharing!

    • We missed the cheetah to complete the “big 5”. But as you said, we saw so many animals and birds it hardly matters! The baby elephant is still my absolute favourite.
